A New Journey

Creating video games is a long journey filled with ups and downs. Sometimes it's hard to stick to you original vision without making cuts. My name is Juan and I go by the name of Elegantgamer. I started creating video games around the age of 17 but it was mostly just me trying new things out and it wasn't anything serious. However since last year I have been taking this much more seriously. I created the game Strangers a very short visual novel based on suicide and other real life events. Even though it's really short it's something that I am very proud of creating. It was the first time I decided to sit down and finish a game from start to finish. Not only that but I was really happy about the reception. It has over a thousand downloads as of this writing and with very positive feedback!

The next thing I would like to talk about is the website itself. From now on all news related to any games will be posted here as well as other sites such as GameJolt or other platforms. So this means that you can find all news related to all the games here. This way it keeps everything much more organized and easier to find. You won't have to search a bunch of sites to find info about a game you're looking forward to. Another thing I would like to talk about is that the site is still in it's beta form. This means that I will be updating the website a couple times a month to make sure it runs well and adding new content to it.

The last thing I want to talk about are the games that I am working on. As of right now I am working on two games. The first one that is taking up most of my time is Strangers EX and the second is Xenofate: Tears Of Jehovah. There are also some new ideas being worked on but nothing final as of yet. Now the reason why I am working on Strangers EX is simply because it's a shorter game to work on and it's something I've been wanting to work on for a bit. I will post another blog going more in depth about Strangers EX and the development of it. As for Xenofate: Tears Of Jehovah don't expect that game coming out any time soon. Xenofate is a very big and ambitious project that will take years to complete. I want the game to be as good and as polished as possible
